Ashida Masato is an otaku. No matter what anyone thought of him, he lived his life proudly, never feeling ashamed of what he loved. He was simply that kind of high school boy.

Of course, he wanted romance too. But surrounding him were nothing but gyarus—the exact opposite of his type:

Inuyashiki Kogane, the gyaru who is strict with otakus.

Arisaka Yaiba, the gyaru who looks down on otakus.

To all of them, an otaku was completely out of the question as a romantic interest. Or at least, that was how it was supposed to be.
